Crédit Agricole Assurances and Quadran sign an agreement relating to an operational wind power portfolio that will eventually have over 200 MW of capacity

For immediate release – June 18, 2015

Crédit Agricole Assurances, via its Predica Energies Durables fund managed by Omnes Capital, and Quadran, one of France’s leading independent producers of renewable energies, are signing an agreement to create a joint venture called Quadrica. Quadrica will eventually have a portfolio of onshore wind-power projects with capacity of more than 200 MW, including eight that are already in operation with total capacity of 76 MW.
The transaction fits with Crédit Agricole Assurances’ investment strategy and strengthens its presence in the infrastructure market, in which it already has significant interests. For Quadran, the deal is a real opportunity to expand and will enable it rapidly to build new wind-power capacity.
In this transaction, Crédit Agricole Assurances was supported by teams from Omnes Capital, whose investment approach consists of forming partnerships with leading French and European producers.
