Omnes Capital has hired a new Director and two new Associates and named a new Partner
SMALL-CAP BUYOUT & GROWTH CAPITAL
Frédéric Mimoun joins Omnes Capital in September 2016 as Director in the Small-Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team.
The Small-Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team supports SMEs with an enterprise value of between €8 million and €25 million. It has completed 40 investments in 10 years.
MID-CAP BUYOUT & GROWTH CAPITAL
Ludovic Valentin-Pereira joins the Mid-Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team as Senior Associate in September 2016.
The Mid-Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team supports SMEs with an enterprise value of up to €180 million with their expansion and buy-out plans. Omnes Croissance 4, its fourth-generation fund, currently at the fund-raising stage, has reached its objective (€180 million). It is already 25%-invested in Cogepart (rapid shipment service), Bimedia (software solutions for local retailers), Capcom (installation of fibre optics and cable networks) and Dispam (temperature controlled distribution).
PRIVATE DEBT
Nicolas Noel joins the Private Debt team in September 2016 as an Associate.
The Private Debt team, which has made 40 investments in 15 years, has long been active in the French SME financing market.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
Marc-Philippe Botte has been named as a Partner in the Renewable Energy team.
Omnes Capital is a pioneer in the renewable energy segment, having launched its first fund in 2006. Since then, the team has made over 30 investments in France and the rest of Europe across the wind, solar, hydro and biomass segments, representing the equivalent of 1,500 MW in production capacity – equivalent to that of two nuclear reactors.

Marc-Philippe Botte (42), Partner
Marc-Philippe Botte first joined Omnes Capital in 2009. His career started in 1998 as Assistant Professor at the Free University of Brussels before joining Mees Pierson’s/Fortis Bank’s M&A teams (Amsterdam). In 2001, Marc-Philippe moved to the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Fortis Bank (Paris) as Principal, where he oversaw deals in the Renewable Energy sector. Marc-Philippe is a graduate of the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Brussels) and has also taught on master’s course 224 at Paris-Dauphine university.
Frédéric Mimoun (43), Director
Frédéric Mimoun joins Omnes Capital in September 2016 as Principal in the Small-Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team. Frédéric began his career with Arthur Andersen in Recovery/Transaction Services. He later joined Société Générale’s Mergers & Acquisitions department in London. He then moved on to the Royal Bank of Scotland in Paris where he headed up the Leveraged Finance origination teams before joining Nixen Partners. Since 2015, Frédéric has been Head of Blackrock’s Private Debt unit in France and the Benelux countries. Frédéric is a graduate of the ESTP French engineering and research graduate school in Paris.
Nicolas Noel (27), Associate
Nicolas Noel joins Omnes Capital’s Private Debt team in September 2016. Nicolas gained a two-year master’s degree in corporate finance and financial engineering from Paris-Dauphine university. Since 2013, he has worked as an analyst in the Loans & Private Debt team within AXA IM’s Structured Finance department.
Ludovic Valentin-Pereira (32), Senior Associate
Ludovic Valentin-Pereira joins the Mid-Cap Buyout & Growth Capital team as Senior Associate in September 2016. He began his career in January 2008 with Perfectis Private Equity, before moving on to Montefiore Investment. In September 2009, he joined Pléiade Investissement as an Associate. He became Deputy Director in 2013. Ludovic is a graduate of the ESSEC business school.
