Sustainable Cities

362m€

Omnes partners with developers to lay the foundation for resilient cities and finance the development of essential real assets that drive the energy transition. Omnes’ Construction Energie Plus funds have 362 million euros of assets under management.

Since 2016, our Sustainable Cities strategy has been at the forefront of transforming urban environments, addressing the urgent need to decarbonize European cities. Cities are responsible for over 70 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, mainly through transportation and buildings. When it comes to buildings, nearly half of their lifetime emissions occur during construction. We partner with developers who demonstrate strong regional or national leadership potential, accelerating their growth and enhancing their impact.

To ensure effective governance and value creation, we invest in real-asset joint-ventures or at the corporate level, securing minority positions with strategic veto rights. Our Construction Energie Plus strategy, now in its second vintage, also aims for a 2-degree alignment target, prioritizing investments that exceed current carbon emission reduction regulations. By supporting both new high-performance building projects, the retrofitting of existing structures, and mobility projects, we contribute to cleaner, more efficient urban living spaces and create livable, future-ready cities.
